“Little Girl I Wanna Marry You”
In this episode, Tami continues to be wonderful, Smash’s secret is revealed, and Jason and Lyla, guys, just Jason and Lyla!
“It’s Different For Girls”
In this episode my love for Lyla knows no bounds, as does my love for the Taylors and basically this episode just fills me with so many feels.
“Full Hearts”
In this episode the team turns on Tim, and we get to watch families be loving and supportive and just want to protect each other, I just love it so much that if every episode was just these families sitting around their tables and talking, I’m not sure I’d even mind!
This episode was so miserable and so heartwarming all in 40 minutes and I’m still trying to wrap my head around how I’ve been so lucky as to find another show that does that as well as The West Wing! For simplicities sake I’m just going to break this review up into those two categories.
“Homecoming”
In this episode, Tim starts to turn his life around, Jason comes home for homecoming and grows suspicious of Lyla, and I have a lot of feelings about Smash.
“El Accidente”
It’s fine guys, it’s not like I needed my heart anyway. In this episode, Tim is just wonderful, and I can’t deal with him and Jason. Buddy and Eric almost get away with the lie about Ray, and Matt’s two lives come into conflict.
“Git ‘Er Done”
When a show makes me want to apologise to fictional characters then it’s doing it right. In this episode Tim and Lyla continue to make poor life choices, while Jason continues to improve. My heart is almost ripped out. And then there’s Ray, and Tyra.
“Who’s Your Daddy”
In this episode the Panthers enter a war with their rivals, Eric who initially makes a bit of a mess of things with Tami, ends up being the best thing about this episode, Jason regains the use of his arm, and Lyla and Tim continue to betray him.
“Wind Spirits”
This episode is just heartbreaking, particularly between Lyla, Jason, and Tim, and I’m liking Eric a lot less right now.
“Eyes Wide Open”
In this episode, Jason Street’s fate is revealed, and overwhelming pressure is put on Matt Saracen to fill his shoes.
